Signal Processing and Feedback Latency
NeuroField Neurofeedback supports 1 to 19 channels and is built on an EEG processing engine designed around the state of the art in signal processing. After extensive research and development, the system delivers real-time Independent Component Analysis (ICA) cleaning of the EEG signal, producing precise and accurate brainwave data optimized for neurofeedback training. Combined with Artifact Subspace Reconstruction and a Beamformer connectivity model, the system achieves feedback latency of under 50 milliseconds. The result is ultra-fast neurofeedback training that sets a new standard for what is possible in the clinical and performance space.
Training Modalities
The platform supports a comprehensive range of surface and 3D sub-cortical training protocols. Surface training options include Power, Power Ratio, Multivariate Coherence, Slow Cortical Potential, and Phase-Amplitude Coupling. The same five protocol types are available for 3D sub-cortical training, enabling deep, targeted intervention across both surface and subcortical regions of the brain.
Feedback Environment
NeuroField Neurofeedback uses the Unity and Unreal gaming engines to deliver rich visual and auditory feedback experiences. Current feedback options include a racing game, a meditation game, and a screen dimmer overlay for use with streaming media. New feedback environments are actively in development, with the long-term vision of creating a fully immersive neurofeedback training experience.

Screen Dimmer: A transparent overlay placed over any movie or media that adjusts visibility based on brain activity, allowing clients to integrate neurofeedback into everyday entertainment. Reinforces attentional regulation through naturalistic, immersive experience while remaining fully transparent to keyboard and mouse input.
Shaolin Masters: A serene scene featuring a meditating turtle that levitates when the trainee reaches target thresholds and gently rests when regulation is lost. Links calm, focused brain states to visual metaphors of balance, supporting meditative engagement and emotional stabilization.
Captain Caribbean: A pirate ship navigates calm or stormy seas depending on EEG stability, using narrative-based feedback to reinforce emotional regulation and resilience. Teaches adaptive control in dynamic environments and sustains participant motivation through story-driven engagement.
